SUPERIOR HOTELS
 

Hilton, Adelaide

Overlooking Victoria Square, the Hilton Adelaide hotel is located at the heart of the city’s entertainment, shopping and dining precincts. The Central Market, Chinatown and Gouger Street - Adelaide’s most vibrant dining destinations are just minutes from the hotel. Catch the free city tram from outside the hotel to North Terrace (5 mins) and then walk across the footbridge to Adelaide Oval.  Coal Cellar + Grill highlights the best of South Australia’s produce using a variety of cooking methods including the feature charcoal grill and rotisserie, while the Lobby Lounge and Collins Bar are ideal for unwinding with a refreshing beer or glass of wine.  There is a  tennis court,  fitness center and outdoor heated pool.  Every room offers delightful views of the Adelaide Hills or towards the Bay and are well equipped with newly refurbished bathrooms.

Mayfair Hotel, Adelaide

Located in the heart of Adelaide and overlooking Rundle Mall, the luxurious Mayfair Hotel is set within a heritage-listed and beautifully renovated building, just 200 yards from the Art Gallery of South Australia and about a 10 minute walk from Adelaide Oval and Parliament House. Adelaide Airport is 4 miles away. The hotel offers free WiFi, a lovely restaurant and lounge bar and a great roof top bar with outdoor terrace. All rooms offer stylish decor and a wide range of facilities including a 55-inch flat-screen TV and luxury bathroom with walk-in shower.
 

Hyatt Regency, Perth

This is a luxury hotel based close to St Georges Terrace, Murray Street and the WACA.The hotel welcomes you in an impressive lobby and features a good sized outdoor heated pool with sun terrace, fitness centre and sauna, tennis court, free WIFI and a free city shuttle bus each weekday morning. Dining options feature a restaurant serving a sumptuous array of dishes from Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore, as well as a casual dining area designed in the style of a European coffee terrace. The contemporary styled rooms overlook the city or river, are a good size and designed to give you a restful nights sleep.

TOURING HOTELS
 

Voyages Desert Gardens, Uluru

Surrounded by the ghost gums and native shrubs that define the region, Desert Gardens Hotel is a stylish four star resort that forms part of the Ayers Rock Resort complex. A short stroll brings you to numerous lookouts for views of Australia’s most dramatic sunsets, with the spectacular play of colours across the face of Uluru. The hotel has a restaurant, pool, lawns for sunbathing and a bar for sundowners. Dining options include White Gums Restaurant serving breakfast and Arnguli Grill which is a favourite for flame-grilled specialities at dinner. The cafe-style Bunya Bar offers a wide range of light meals and is an ideal spot to enjoy afternoon tea or an early evening cocktail.

The Grace Hotel, Sydney

Built by the Grace Brothers in the 1920s as a showpiece to their successful retail business. Today it has been beautifully restored to its former glory making it a fine example of Neo-Gothic architecture with contrasting Art Deco interior. Centrally located near Darling Harbour, the Grace Hotel is a 4-star property within walking distance of many of Sydney's famous sights and landmarks. There are 382 rooms, each with air conditioning, a minibar, in-room safe and ironing facilities. The hotel has two restaurants and two bars offering a range of buffet and a la carte options. Leisure facilities include an indoor swimming pool and health club and their is free WIFI.

Ashes Ticket Descriptions

As we purchase match tickets directly from CATO (Cricket Australia Travel Office) as part of a hotel & ticket package, all match tickets are fully guaranteed. Ticket prices have been included in our Escorted Tour packages and include a ticket to each day of the Test. For the avoidance of doubt, irrespective of the Ticket Category purchased, Day Five tickets in all instances will be a general admission ticket  (i.e. a non reserved seat). Having visited all match venues, we have selected GOLD category tickets for our packages (except Perth where we have chosen the top category PLATINUM should the match take place at the WACA. If the Test is moved to the New Perth Stadium we will change our featured ticket category to Gold seating).  Please note, no refund applies to unused tickets should a match finish early.

How to book

When you have chosen the holiday you wish to book please call our sales team on 01737 244398 to check the availability of the tour.

To confirm your booking we need to collect a deposit payment equivalent to 25% of the total holiday price. When making holiday payments we encourage you to pay online by bank transfer or by debit card or personal cheque. We also accept credit card payments but they will incur a charge of 2% to cover bank charges.

A second interim payment of 25% is required by 25 April 2017 with the final balance due by 30 August 2017. The person signing the booking form will be treated as doing so on behalf of, and with the consent of, all the persons for whom the booking is made and is responsible for ensuring due payment of all monies.  Please ensure you return your signed booking form, together with a copy of the photograph page of all travellers passports as soon as possible so we can arrange your Australian visa.
