ASHES IN AUSTRALIA
It is highly unlikely that English fans will be able to travel to Australia for the Ashes. The Australian government is indicating that their country’s borders are likely to remain closed to most international visitors until at least the beginning of 2022.The official line from Cricket Australia is as follows: “Given Australia’s current border closures and the level of uncertainty that will continue to exist for a number of months, Cricket Australia and Cricket Australia Travel Office will delay the release of tickets and travel packages to international fans for the upcoming Ashes series. Cricket Australia will continue to monitor this situation closely and work with the relevant authorities to ensure the safety of all players, staff, and fans is the number one priority.”
While the cricket will take centre stage, the beautiful Australian continent provides the perfect backdrop for our group tours. There’s nothing quite like Australia’s weird and wonderful wildlife, laid back lifestyle, buzzy cities, stunning beaches, mythical outback and delicious food and wine. For a more flexible style of holiday, book a hotel and ticket package to the Test or Tests on your bucket list and then do your own thing – the choice is yours.
